Refuse To Be A Victim (tm)

The first step toward your own personal protection is having a plan.

The NRA's Refuse To Be A Victim® program began in 1993 as a personal protection training program. Since then, more than 100,000 people have gained new skills and knowledge to take control of their own safety. Refuse To Be A Victim® is more than just a class: it's a mindset.

In this four hour seminar students will receive instruction on:

  •  common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of

  • a variety of corrective measures that are practical inexpensive and easy to follow

  • criminal psychology

  • automobile crimes

  • cyber safety

  • home security

  • and a variety of crime prevention strategies including carjack avoidance techniques, use of personal safety devices, and more.

This is not a firearms instruction course, and does not include instruction in physical combat self-defense.
